TELEPATHE-SO FINE

Telepathe - So Fine from Paul Tao on Vimeo.

Early Rider Kids Bikes!

Early Rider's training bike for kids is cool because of two reasons: 1; it has design the looks similar too some tough bobber you would see your local Chingalings Chapter member rolling down your street destroying your sense of safety with. 2; it has some type of stabilizer technology that removes the annoyance of training wheels. Check out more here.

BEAT STREET!

Truthfully I am still a Hip Hop nerd. I had a mirror in my room that I practiced pop locking in. Yes I was that lame kid that would break out some break dancing moves at homecoming . I was nominated best dancer in high school so I guess all the hours, sweat and tears paid off. Girls love good dancer .If your one of those guys who lurks in the dark staring at girls in the club thinking you might have a chance. Your chances of getting with that girl are slim unless you know how to do the cabbage patch. This is the movie that fueled the fire for my love of dancing. Beat Street. Don't hate on a classic.

Self Edge Interview

Sort of in reference to Eric's previous rant on the current Heritage movement, I'd like to follow up with a very in depth interview done with Kiya of Self Edge (San Francisco).  Nick Schonberger of Selectism illicits a ton of factoids from Kiya which are sure to wet the palate of anyone looking to find out more about the heritage movement and denim culture.  Check the interview here.  Let me know what you think.

Wale X Big Sean X Poitier Pockets= Dope show tonight at Garage Bar

If you don't already know about any of these artists, you've been sleeping. {milk bar} brought Wale here last January to Skully's.  A native of D.C, Wale brings his unique style of rhyming to life with sounds that are familiar to him, Go-go. And if you show up to this show, you'll be so lucky to see the legendary go-go band, UCB back him. Besides Wale, you still have Big Sean, G.O.O.D Music's latest signee. Dude kills it with his wordplay and flow. This show is all about the new generation of hip hop, so in addition to the 09' up-and-comers, you also get to see the future of the midwest with Columbus homegrown Poitier Pockets and The 3rd. Poitier has swagger for days, gives a hell of a show, and kills it with key skills. The 3rd... Pretty self explanatory. Why am I going on about this show? Because we still have tickets left @ 10 bucks a pop presale. A small fee for some dope shit. Get em' while they're still here.

HIroki Nakamura Feature

One of my favorite online magazines, Honeyee, has just released an interview with Visvim's founder Hiroki Nakamura.  I have always been amazed at how Visvim has managed to sustain its appeal to a rapidly evolving streetwear culture.

Juggaknots- Clear Blue Skies

Black Bike Culture

I saw this article and immediately thought of Kareem. When thinking about the motorcycle culture, it is very seldom to hear about the blacks involved in the movement. Check out the article for an accurate account of Blacks true place in the motorcycle legacy. Click here

Youth in Japan.

For most of my youth I have been obsessed with Japanese culture ,motorcycles and fashion. These photos sum up everything I love with great photography. Youth in Japan photos are from a 69 issue of life magazine covering a young group of Japanese teens and there motorcycles, who are affectionately called scooter kids. If you are into bikes you can tell those are not scooters and are mostly Honda Cb 200 and 350's.Their outfits are classic and remind us all that a classic piece of clothing should be a staple in your wardrobe. You can check out more photos here.

{milk bar} loves "Chester French"

Chanel Guitar and Guitar bag

I would have to say if I knew how to play the guitar and I was a wealthy person,I probably would own this .Let me take that back if I just wealthy I would buy this. The quilted white leather guitar case is enough for me.I would use it as luggage. It would be a great conversation piece in the long check in lines or on the 3C rail(I have my fingers crossed for that one).

Fashionable Savage- Chelsea

In my opinion this reminds me of Audrey Hepburn. I could be off but i immediately in visioned this outfit on Hepburn at some point in her career. The pose goes well with the outfit very cute and quirky. Vintage pieces are always timeless when you do them right and I have always been a fan of the gloves with long sleeves as well. So here's to Chelsea the Fashionable Savage.
