NYT article on the resurgence of Americana and its Japanese Influence

A recent NY times article delves into the current Americana trend with a new spin, by evaluating some of its Japanese roots.  The article expounds on the similarities between todays trends and japanese culture in the 60s.  Meanwhile, the Homage brand is no stranger to the Japanese insatiable tastes for American vintage buying up shirts such as the famous "Block O" tee for as much as $100 US in some of its most coveted boutiques.

A.P.C 1 year washed twice purchased from {milk bar}

One of the best pair of A.P.C's I have seen in awhile after aging and they were purchased at {milk bar}. Tyler purchased these A.P.C''s 1 year ago . The look he achieved is after being washed twice. He has a little war paint on the back of the legs most likely caused by mud. The wallet imprint on the back pocket with a slight tear is a nice little touch as well.

A couple of weeks ago, {milk bar} teamed up with Sovereign Collective, Columbus latest and greatest tattoo shop for free tattoos. The tattoos were different designs with the word Savage incorporated in the design. We are the Society of Fashionable Savages and the tattoos represent of friends, family and way of life we choose.

AIR YEEZY TRIP

So a few of us decided to venture out to Chicago to try to get the yeezys. We got there 8am on friday and the shoes went on sale saturday at 8am. We were one of the first ten to get there so we pretty much guaranteed our size. We pretty much spent the whole day in line which was exhausting but in the end it was worth it. The trip was actually really tight. There was plenty of laughs, fights and pretty much everything in between. Here are a few pictures from the trip:
